DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesday, September 30th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. for a conversation about Frederick Douglass, the great abolitionist and orator who called Lynn his home for seven years. Kenneth B. Morris, Jr., the great-great-great grandson of Frederick Douglass, and Tom Dalton, local Douglass historian, will explore the legacy of Frederick Douglass, the Douglass family, and their impact on Lynn and Massachusetts. Reception to follow. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
This program is part of Douglass Week 2025, organized by Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives. For more information about this week-long celebration, go to the Douglass Week website.
