Exclusively for April school vacation, join us for a week-long celebration with nature and science-inspired crafts, special workshops, and more. Enjoy daily art-making activities and special workshops (see below).

Slime, 3 Ways: Thermochromic, Glow-in-the-Dark, & Fluffy with Outside the Box Learning Company
Monday, April 21, from 10-11 am & 11:30 am – 12:30 pm (Museum open 10 am – 2 pm)
The ultimate slime-making experience! In this class, you’ll learn how to make three different types of slime: Thermochromic (changes color with heat), Glow-in-the-Dark, and Soft & Fluffy. It’s a slime party with endless squishy fun! 15 participants per workshop. RSVP required.

Scales, Feathers, and Fur Live Animal Presentation
Wednesday, April 23, from 10-11:30 am (Museum open 10 am – 7 pm)
Scales, Feathers & Fur is a small growing family of rescued and surrendered animal ambassadors! They aim to bridge the gap between humans and animals, teaching appreciation and understanding through interactive experience!
Kinetic Sand from Scratch with Outside the Box Learning Company
Thursday, April 24, from 10-11 am & 11:30 am – 12:30 pm (Museum open 10 am – 5 pm)
Ready for some squishy fun? In this program, you’ll make your own kinetic sand! It’s soft, moldable, and oh-so-satisfying to play with. Sculpt, play, and watch the sand flow in relaxing and entertaining ways. 15 participants per workshop. RSVP required.
