While we would love to encourage research conducted by our visitors we regret to say that the LMHS research library is currently closed to the public. However, research can be done by the LMHS staff.
If research is completed by the museum staff then a research fee in the amount of $20.00 per research hour is charged and can take up to 6-8 weeks to process. Please understand that we cannot guarantee results, but every effort will be made to assist you, and we will document all sources that we consult during the course of our research.
Research requests can be made in writing by conventional mail or email and must be accompanied by a nonrefundable $20.00 fee for the first hour of research. Checks are made payable to: LMHS, w/ Research Fee noted in the memo section of the check.
Requests are handled in the order in which they are received.
