Museum Enrichment Series for All (M.E.S.A.) featuring Save the Harbor/Save the Bay

Join Lynn Museum & Arts Center on the second Wednesday of each month at noon for MESA (Museum Enrichment Series for All). This lecture series covers wellness, genealogy, and current events, featuring local experts, community members, Museum staff, and others.

This month’s speaker is Libby McLaughlin, Environmental Policy Manager for Save the Harbor/Save the Bay. She’ll shed light on the organizations mission, their upcoming events, and their exhibition, Bay State Without Beaches: Stories of the Shoreline. This is a multimedia exhibit highlighting personal stories about how coastal climate change is affecting people and communities across Massachusetts. It will be on view here at the museum until May 23rd.

This conversation will take place over Zoom. Stay tuned for the link to register.

About Our Speaker: Libby McLaughlin (she/her) runs Save the Harbor’s policy team, manages the Metropolitan Beaches Commission for the MA government, and leads strategy and projects around waterfront access and equity, coastal climate change, and water quality.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Lynn Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
