November’s MESA theme: Lynn Main Streets
Ahead of Small Business Saturday, hear from the incredible team behind Lynn Main Streets, an organization committed to revitalizing, preserving, and promoting Lynn’s historic downtown as a vibrant destination for residents, businesses, creative industry and visitors to gather, shop, work, and live.
Lynn Main Streets: an Urban Main Project was spearheaded in 2019 by a small group of downtown businesses, property owners, and city officials who saw a need to change the narrative of the downtown district of Lynn, MA. Their vision to restore economic vitality and promote quality of life, through community-driven economic development and inclusive revitalization, has led them to research possible pathways and solutions that would celebrate Lynn’s diversity and cultural strengths through engaging, place-specific initiatives. With these criteria in mind, the pursuit of the national Main Streets model began.
This program is generously funded by the Lynn Cultural Council.
