Bud Fowler Appreciation Night
Join Lynn Museum/LynnArts, the North Shore Navigators, North Shore Juneteenth Association, Inc., and Senator Crighton’s Office as we recognize Bud Fowler.
Fowler is considered one of the first African-Americans to play professional baseball and played for the Lynn Live Oaks in 1878. In honor of Fowler’s induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on July 24th, we have invited educator and early baseball historian Brian Sheehy to share Fowler’s history and legacy with displays, baseball cards, and more during the game.
Make sure you stay for the fireworks display following the game!
