Exclusively for April school vacation, join us for a week-long celebration with nature, animals, and science-inspired crafts. Enjoy daily art-making activities and special workshops (see below).

Special Workshops
Slime, 3 Ways: Thermochromic, Glow-in-the-Dark, & Fluffy with Outside the Box Learning Company
Monday, April 20, from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm and 1-2 pm (Museum open 11 am – 2 pm)
The ultimate slime-making experience! In this class, you’ll learn how to make three different types of slime: Thermochromic (changes color with heat), Glow-in-the-Dark, and Soft & Fluffy. It’s a slime party with endless squishy fun! 15 participants per workshop. RSVP required.

Rainforest Reptiles Show
Tuesday, April 21, at 11 am (Museum open 11 am – 2 pm)
Northeast’s top wildlife experts and entertainers bring jaw-dropping reptiles and animals from around the world right to the museum, for hands-on fun, unforgettable learning, and real conservation impact.
Paint, Pot & Plant! Project
Wednesday, April 22, from 3-5 pm (Museum open from 3-7 pm)
Plant your own springtime flowers in a custom-painted pot. All materials provided.
The Science & Engineering of Giant Bubbles with Outside the Box Learning Company
Thursday, April 23, from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm and 1-2 pm (Museum open 11 am – 4 pm)
Want to create massive bubbles? In this hands-on program, you’ll learn the secrets to making giant, mesmerizing bubbles. It’s a bubble-making magic show you get to be part of! 15 participants per workshop. RSVP required.

Movie Screening: Zootopia 2
