Final Fridays: Mi Gente

Join us for the second installment of Final Fridays 2026!

Lynn Museum Final Fridays presents:

“Mi Gente”
July 31st / 6 PM – 9 PM

Inspired by the “Belongings” exhibit at the Lynn Museum & Arts Center–and by reflections on the questions, “Who does this land belong to?” and “Who belongs to the land?”–Final Fridays, in partnership with Outlaud, presents Mi Gente: an evening honoring Lynn’s Latino community and the Indigenous, African, Caribbean, and Central American roots that often go unnamed.

We’re going from grounding and ancestral veneration into poetry, Bomba, salsa, food, games, and community celebration.

Featuring:

Bomba by BOMBAntillana
Drum Circle & Altar by Grandmother Medicine Circle
Poetry by Phree_Dom
Live Music by Willie Colon y El Grupo Chevere
Mocktails by Vibe Dealer Bar Co.
Hosted by Michelle LaPoetica

Funding for Final Fridays has been generously provided by the Creative Cities Grant Program administered by MassDevelopment.
