Lynn Museum/LynnArts Annual Meeting

Members of the Lynn Museum/LynnArts are invited to attend our annual meeting on Wednesday, May 19th at 6pm via Zoom. There will be a financial and business report by current Board President, Joseph E. Scanlon III, as well as a report by Director, Doneeca Thurston.

Following the meeting, we will have Dan Lipcan, the Ann C. Pingree Director of the Phillips Library at the Peabody Essex Musuem, share how the Lynn Museum print and manuscript collection is being cared for at their site in Rowley.

Dan Lipcan is the Ann C. Pingree Director of the Phillips Library at the Peabody Essex Museum. He oversees a talented staff charged with stewarding and sharing the library’s extensive collection of books, archives, ships’ journals, broadsides, and ephemera. He joined the PEM in 2019 after a 16-year tenure at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Thomas J. Watson Library. Outside of the library he pursues candlepin bowling, paddleboarding, record collecting, and jaywalking!
