CANCELLED – Museum Enrichment Series for All (M.E.S.A.) featuring Kashawn McRavion Little
We sincerely apologize for the short notice. Today’s M.E.S.A. program has been cancelled. We hope to reschedule this program for later this summer or fall. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Join Lynn Museum & Arts Center on the second Wednesday of each month at noon for MESA (Museum Enrichment Series for All). This lecture series covers wellness, genealogy, and current events, featuring local experts, community members, Museum staff, and others.
For June, we are excited to feature Kashawn McRavion Little! Kashawn is a Foster Parent Recruiter for DCF (Department of Children and Family Services). Kashawn is originally from North Carolina and spent nine years in NC’s foster care system. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from NC A&T State, he and his brother started a group home for adults with developmental disabilities.
Now working as a foster parent recruiter for the greater Lynn area, Kashawn will talk about the rewards of providing daily care and acceptance to a child in need.
The conversation will take place over Zoom.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Lynn Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
