M.E.S.A. featuring The Vásquez Trochez Family

Join Lynn Museum/LynnArts on the second Wednesday of each month at noon for MESA (Museum Enrichment Series for All). This lecture series covers wellness, genealogy, and current events and features local experts, community members, Museum staff, and others.

We are delighted to offer our first bilingual MESA program as we welcome and hear from members of the Vásquez Trochez family!

Tune in as members of the Vásquez Trochez family share their experiences writing their first book, “More than an American Dream, The Strength of a Family.” In this moving and authentic story, each family member—brave parents and four children full of hope—becomes a co-author. Discover how they defied adversities, overcame unimaginable obstacles, and forged a new destiny in an unknown country.

The program takes place over Zoom.

BIOGRAPHY ANNA TROCHEZ
Anna Trochez, born in Honduras, studied Industrial Engineering for three years at the autonomous university of Honduras. She is a mother of four children. She is a Life Coach and Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Along with her husband and four children, she is the author of the book More than an American Dream. She desires to inspire young people to continue improving themselves in life and thus transmit to their children the love of helping others.

Anna Trochez, nació en Honduras, estudió Ingeniería Industrial por 3 años en la universidad autónoma de Honduras. Es Madre de cuatro hijos. Es Life Coach y Master practitioner en Programación Neuro-Lingüística. Es Autora junto con su esposo y sus cuatro hijos del libro Mas que un Sueño
Americano. Su deseo es inspirar a jóvenes a seguir superándose en la vida y así transmitir a sus hijos el amar ayudar a los demás.

BIOGRAPHY CARLOS VASQUEZ MUNOZ
He was born in Guatemala. Carlos Vasquez is an excellent international speaker, expert speaker, and motivational coach who graduated from the International Association of Hispanic Speakers in New York.

Nació en Guatemala. Carlos Vasquez Es Un Excelente Conferencista Internacional, Experto Orador Y Coach Motivacional Graduado En New York Por La Asociación Internacional De Conferencistas Hispanos.

BIOGRAPHY CARLOS VASQUEZ TROCHEZ (SON / HIJO)
Carlos Vasquez Trochez was born in Guatemala, but his childhood and adolescence were in Ecuador. Carlos moved with his family to the United States in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and currently resides in Massachusetts. He graduated from “Lynn Classical High School” where he had incredible opportunities and was part of the “Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program (HPREP)” program organized by Harvard University. He was also part of the “Early College Program” with Salem State University, where he continued his studies with a degree in computer science.

With all the knowledge he has gathered through online programs and classes, he is beginning his venture into web development and working on an independent video game. Their biggest dream is to inspire the world with their projects and demonstrate that they can achieve their goals no matter where they come from.

Carlos Vasquez Trochez, nació en Guatemala pero su niñez y adolesencia fueron en Ecuador. Carlos se mudó junto con su familia a Estados Unidos en el año 2020 durante la pandemia del COVID-19, y actualmente reside en el estado de Massachusetts. Se graduo en “Lynn Classical High School” donde tubo increíbles oportunidades y fue parte del programa “Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program (HPREP)” organizado por la Universidad de Harvard. También formó parte del “Early College Program” con Salem State University, donde continua su estudio con la carrera de ciencias de la computacion.

Con todo el conocimiento que ha reunido con programas y clases en línea está comenzando su emprendimiento en desarrollo de páginas web y trabajando en un videojuego independiente. Su mayor sueño es poder inspirar al mundo con sus proyectos, y demostrar que sin importar de donde provengan, son capaces de cumplir sus metas.

Jonatan Vasquez Trochez was born on May 30, 2008, in Quito, Ecuador; he was always a very intelligent and dedicated child in his studies. He won
many awards and medals due to his outstanding grades. He is passionate about exercising, martial arts, and reading personal development books. He is currently in 10th grade. He attends Everett Senior High School in Massachusetts and is very happy that, at a young age, he has already written a chapter for such an exciting book where he inspires young people to continue striving to achieve their goals.

Jonatan Vasquez Trochez, nació el 30 de mayo de 2008, en Quito, Ecuador, Siempre fue un niño muy inteligente y aplicado en sus estudios, Ganó muchos reconocimientos y medallas debido a sus calificaciones sobresalientes. Le apasiona hacer ejercicios, las artes marciales y leer libros de desarrollo personal. En la actualidad esta cursando 10mo. Grado en Everett Senior High School, Massachusetts, y esta muy feliz que a su corta edad ya a escrito un capitulo para un libro tan emocionante donde inspira a jovenes a seguir esforzandose ara lograr sus metas.

BIOGRAPHY ANGEL VASQUEZ
He was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on September 1, 2012. He is in 6th grade and likes languages. He is happy because he already speaks English and wants to learn Portuguese as well. He enjoys family walks, vacations at water parks, and going to the movies. He is a very loving, intelligent child and loves God and his family with all his heart.

Nació en Guayaquil, Ecuador el 01 de septiembre del 2012. Esta cursando 6to. Grado y le gustan los idiomas. esta feliz por que ya se desenvuelve en el ingles y desea aprender también el portugués. Disfruta los paseos en familia, las vacaciones en parques acuáticos e ir al cine. Es un niño muy amoroso, inteligente y ama a Dios y a su familia con todo su corazón.

BIOGRAPHY JAMES VASQUEZ
He was born in Salem, Massachusetts, United States, on September 7, 2022. The doctors said he was a perfect and beautiful child. James came to bring more joy, love, and happiness to his home. He is growing up surrounded by a wonderful family that loves him infinitely.

Nació en la ciudad de Salem, Massachusetts Estados Unidos el 7 de septiembre del 2022. Los doctores dijeron, es un niño perfecto y hermoso.
James llego a dar mas alegría amor y felicidad a su hogar. El esta creciendo rodeado de una familia maravillosa que lo ama infinitamente.
