M.E.S.A. (Museum Enrichment Series for All) featuring Tish from Fran’s Place

In celebration of PRIDE month, Robert ‘Tish’ Muise, former General Manager and the longest serving employee of Fran’s Place, will share memories of this landmark business. Fran’s Place was one of the oldest gay bars in Massachusetts and is believed to be the first and oldest in Lynn. Tish will talk about how this special spot in downtown Lynn offered a safe place and helped connect members of the LGBTQ+ community. MESA attendees will be able to share their own memories too!

M.E.S.A. will be virtual via Zoom. Registration is required. The program will also be live streamed via Facebook Live.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Lynn Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
