M.E.S.A. (Museum Enrichment Series for All) featuring The REAL Program

Join Lynn Museum/LynnArts on the second Wednesday of each month at noon for M.E.S.A. (Museum Enrichment Series for All). This virtual lecture series will cover wellness, genealogy, and current events and hear from local experts, community members, Museum staff, and others.

Have you ever wondered who is behind all of those nifty little libraries around the greater Lynn area? Since 2013, the REAL Program (Reading and Educational Assistance for Learning) has worked to advance literacy with a community-based approach to improving the lives of children and young adults. Jan Plourde, founder and Executive Director of the REAL Program, shares the impact REAL has had on Lynn and the work she and the organization’s volunteers do daily.

The program will take place over Zoom and live-streamed on Facebook.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Lynn Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
