M.E.S.A. (Museum Enrichment Series for All)
Join Lynn Museum/LynnArts on the second Wednesday of each month at noon for M.E.S.A. (Museum Enrichment Series for All). Covering various topics such as wellness, genealogy, and current events, hear from local experts, community members, Museum staff, and others during this virtual lecture series.
Ivanna Solano, the co-founder of Love Your Magic, shares her journey from her days in Lynn Public Schools to spearheading self-advocacy, love, and sisterhood in young girls.
Ivanna Solano grew up in Lynn, attended American University in Washington, D.C., for undergraduate school and Boston University’s Wheelock College for her master’s degree. Ivanna is the co-founder and Executive Director of Love Your Magic, an organization committed to the healthy development of Black and Brown girls. Love Your Magic develops robust programming and initiatives designed to empower and support Black and Brown girls by emphasizing self-advocacy, self-love, and sisterhood.
The conversation will take place over Zoom and live-streamed to Facebook.
