Second Saturday featuring traveling exhibition “Frederick Douglass Advocate for Equality”

Join us on the second Saturday of each month for free admission to the Museum from 10 am – 2 pm! View our latest exhibitions, enjoy special activities, and purchase one-of-a-kind Lynn merchandise in our shop.

Be sure to view the traveling exhibition Frederick Douglass: Advocate for Equality before it leaves the Museum. This exhibit features an exploration of the full trajectory of Douglass’s epic life from 1818 to 1895. In this six-panel traveling exhibition, viewers can learn about Douglass’s escape from slavery, his work as an abolitionist, and his tireless fight for full equality for all individuals into the Jim Crow era.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Lynn Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
