Second Saturday featuring DIY Rainbow Bubble Wands

Join us on the second and fourth Saturday of each month for FREE admission to the Lynn Museum from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.! You can view our latest exhibitions, purchase Lynn-themed goods in our shop, check out books in our free library, and participate in art-making activities.

On Saturday, June 8th, participate in a drop-in Pride art-making activities as we celebrate the opening of “Through A Rainbow Lens, A Reflection on Lynn’s LGBTQ+ History,” an exhibit that spans close to a century of city history, covers everything from Lynn’s nearly 20 gay bars to members of the city’s LGBTQ+ community who went on to national fame. The project features over two dozen filmed interviews with members of the city’s LGBTQ+ community, some dating back 40 years, and over 500 photos, fliers, posters, and dozens of news articles. The exhibit runs through October 31.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Lynn Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
